Finally, Freemake is online!

We are glad to announce that first free video software from Freemake is available on our official website. Currently you there are two tools available for downloading Freemake Video Converter and Freemake Video Downloader. You may download the software using these links:-

-  video converter: https://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/

-  video downloader: https://www.freemake.com/free_video_downloader/.

We started working on our software long ago. The idea suddenly came to our mind when we needed to transform a video file to another format. Of course, there were utilities ready to help us. But it appeared that they had serious drawbacks. The good ones were paid. They either didn’t have a trial period to check the program or put a watermark on a ready file in a free version. Other tools were too slow, and it took a long time to get the job done. The third group of utilities we tried had a difficult and absolutely not user-friendly design. They also required tech knowledge to archive a good final result. And finally, the utilities from the fourth group didn't have all the necessary features. They accepted a small number of formats and allowed users to encode them only to MP4 or AVI. Some of them didn’t have a video editor to slightly change your file before transforming it.

These were the main reasons we decided to create a tool that would meet all our requirements and thus the requirements of other users.

The next step was finding a right team to make our dreams come true. Having met many people, we finally had a so-called dream-team of highly experienced professionals who liked the idea of bringing a completely new and superb product to the market.

When we started developing the tools, one of the firsts and most important things was to create a simple and beautiful design that would be intuitive and would not require any special tech skills. It means that we wanted our tools to be used by people of any age from 5 to 100.

The second step was to decide what set of features we wanted to add to the very first release. We thought that it’d be cool to add the support for many input extensions and provide the most popular ones as output settings. We also added a couple of features to perform simple movie editing and DVD burning. Look how to burn a DVD here.

In the end, Freemake Converter was born. We really hope that you’ll like it! We did our best to deliver a high-quality product at no cost.

Besides that, our designers prepared a set of how-to videos to learn you use the software and get your project done in only three clicks. Watch our intro videos showing the possibilities of Freemake freeware and don't hesitate to contact our support team in case of problems.

We’d appreciate any feedback from you. Tell us what you liked or didn’t like while using our tolls. If you have any feature ideas in your mind, please share them with us. The coolest ones will be added in the next releases.
