Several months ago we released our 1st mobile app – Freemake Musicbox for iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch). It first we didn’t add too many options to the app. We wanted to see whether it could become popular among music fans. We didn’t expect to get such a huge feedback and so many positive comments. Thus we decided to continue developing Freemake Musicbox for Apple devices and implement cool new features.

Freemake Musicbox 1.1.5 comes out with online radio support.

MusicBox

Now you can listen to millions of personalized radio stations on your iPhone choosing them by artists, genre or hashtag. Add the stations you like into Favorites to listen to them at any moment. The app provides full control over the radio: create, play, skip and fast forward tracks. Get stations like Radiohead radio, Arctic Monkeys Radio, David Guetta radio, the Muse radio and many more.

To enjoy new Freemake Musicbox with radio, follow the steps below:

  1. Take your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and tap App Store app;
  2. If you don’t have Apple ID, please create one;
  3. Tap the Search tab;
  4. Type Freemake Musicbox
  5. Download the app by Freemake. Please pay attention to the developer’s name since there might be apps with the same title.
  6. Wait till the app is saved on your device;
  7. Then tap to launch it;
  8. Type your search query in the line. It can be a band name, a genre, or a hashtag that corresponds to your mood. For example, if you type #happy, you will get positive songs; #italian will give you music by Italian singers, and so on.
  9. To listen to the radio, swap the tab at the bottom of the app to the Radio one. Since now on you will listen to the radio station non-stop.

You can always change your query and get a new station that suits your current state. Do not forget to add that station that you like to Favorites by taping the heart sign next to them. Thus you will be able to quickly access the station at any time you want.

Please note that the app consumes traffic while you are using it. We recommend using Freemake Musicbox in places with unlimited Wi-Fi connection. Of course, you can use mobile data, but you will have to check the available traffic from time to time. Especially, if you are traveling abroad. Do not forget that listening to music in roaming might cost a lot.

One more thing to keep in mind is that Freemake Musicbox does not save tracks for offline listening. It means that if you can’t listen to music, you should check your Internet connection.
