The installation is fast and easy: you may click the button "Next" all the time. At the end decide if you want to keep the desktop and quick launch icon of the software on your PC.
2

Add AAC audio files

Run the software and add AAC songs you need to convert to MP3 files. You may do it in several ways. Use either the "+Audio" button to choose the tracks or simply drag-'n-drop them into the freeware main window.

Great news!
Freemake Audio Converter supports batch mode. It means that you may add and convert as many files as you wish at once.

Please note that the program doesn't support protected/purchased audio files.
3

Choose "to MP3"

Now have a look at the bottom of the program window. Here are all possible audio formats you may change your file(s) to.

If you want to convert AAC to MP3, click the "to MP3" button. Then choose "Optimal quality", this preset keeps the original audio settings and quality. Alternatively, you may select any other quality you need. For example, 320kbps, 256kbps, and others.

Please note that you can't encode a low-quality file into a high-quality one. Freemake tool doesn’t increase the original media parameters.
4

Tune final settings

In case none of the freeware ready profiles suits your needs, you can create a custom one. To do it, choose "Add custom preset" from the presets drop-down menu. There will appear a new window where you can set the sample rate, bitrate, and audio channel.

Finally, select a folder where your new MP3 tracks will be saved. Keep in mind that the program doesn’t substitute the original songs; it only creates MP3 version alongside with the existing files.
